I’m laurel.

I’m a collector of knowledge and skills...

My business is Laurel Leaf Creations...
Although Laurel Leaf Creations started in June 2011, it’s roots began soon after Laurel’s first daughter was born in 2008. Wanting more natural approaches to handling her newborn’s aches and pains, led her to study herbs. As she began creating all natural and organic herbal products, she found that there was an interest amongst her friends and family for the same items. Laurel’s artistic nature had her doing henna tattoos, making gemstone jewelry and creating fun imagination toys for her daughter. Everything continued to evolve and grow, and Laurel’s little business was ready for an identity, an identity that would encompass everything that she enjoyed doing.
Laurel leaf, is a very popular herb. It is best known as the leaves that crowned the winners in the Olympics, and is used daily in our American kitchens as the ‘bay leaf.’ Its uses are varied and extensive through-out history, and it seemed appropriate for an herbal based business. ‘Creations’ was added so that Laurel had a place to market everything and anything else that her creative spirit was inclined to do.
I believe in...
Imagination and creativity. Creating a more simple and sustainable environment for my home and world. Juggling and struggling to become the person I want to be...without taking myself too seriously. Being challenged and learning new lessons in unsuspecting places. Being my own unique self.
