Lauren Hira

Lauren is a freelance photographer specialising in children & corporate portraits. She studied Photography at Mid Cheshire College of Art whilst becoming a master of multi-tasking, funding her studies by working in various temp admin roles at the same time as gaining in-depth experience of the music industry playing drums in a punk band touring UK & beyond.

After a random spell of travelling & teaching Horse Riding in USA, Lauren then settled into a Marketing / Graphic Design role at Maginus Software Solutions & stayed for over 10 years.

After starting a family, Lauren returned to part-time freelance Photography & also combined being a busy mum with a role as Campaign Manager at MOTIV, an award winning Community Interest Company working with schools rewarding & Inspiring young people through Music & Events.

She is recently joined the Management Support Team at SharpFutures, helping to co-ordinate Events, Volunteers, PR, Marketing & working with Schools as well as overseeing young people’s apprenticeship training.

Lauren also volunteers in her local Community (Didsbury) helping to run music-based fund-raising events such as Didsbury Festival, & CavFest.
