Lauren Reiter
I am currently a full-time graduate student conducting research in reproductive endocrinology on the endangered maned wolf (Chrysocyon brachyurus). My research is carried out at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute's Center for Species Survival, a facility that is part of the National Zoo. I received my bachelor’s degree in zoology from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio). After graduating, I was fortunate to experience several opportunities working with domestic and exotic animals in local, national and international capacities. My master's program has granted me the opportunity to continue to do research in wildlife conservation. I enjoy traveling, photography, scuba diving, being outdoors and working with large carnivores.
