Lauren Richey was born in Arlington, Texas. She is now a junior at the University of Tampa as an English major. She is currently the News & Features Editor for The Minaret, UT's college newspaper, and works as a research assistant for the university. She has been on the UT NCAA Division II swim team for three years, and a USA swimmer for 13.
