Lauren Allen

Hello, my name is Lauren Allen and I am from Seaford, New York. I am in my senior year at Quinnipiac University, majoring in public relations with a minor in law. During my time here I have gained invaluable knowledge about the communications field. I turned that knowledge into real life experience.

This past summer I had the opportunity to intern with Newsday, a major Long Island newspaper, and work on their event marketing team. I assisted with all aspects of sponsorship, promotions, advertising fulfillment, event logistics, set up, execution and provided administrative and operational support in preparation of the events.

I am extremely fortunate to call Quinnipiac my home and my center for learning and enrichment. I hope that when I graduate to pursue a career in the public relations field doing what I love.
