Lauren Alvarez

I attend classes at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor where I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Comunication and Public Relations. When I’m not at school I am a nanny and a substitute teacher for the Belton School District.

After finishing my degree at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, I plan on going back to school to work on my teaching credentials and ultimatley becoming an elementary school teacher.

Throughout my educational career I have worked in retail and the public relations industry. I am currently interning for two businesses, In Search of Me Cafe and Writing Between the Lines. While interning at both, I am in charge of social media, press releases and blog writing for these businesses. Through these experiences I have acquired great communication skills, along with time management and excellent interpersonal skills.
