Lauren Alwan

Lauren Alwan’s fiction and essays have appeared or are forthcoming in the Alaska Quarterly Review, StoryQuarterly, ZYZZYVA, the Northwest Review of Books, the Sycamore Review, the Rumpus, The Millions and elsewhere. She is a staff contributor at LitStack, a literary news and reviews site, and a prose editor at the museum of americana, an online literary review.

Her fiction has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, named a finalist for the Wabash Prize in Fiction (selected by Tobias Wolff), Glimmer Train's Fiction Open, and most recently, the recipient of the Goldenberg Prize for Fiction from the Bellevue Literary Review, selected by Paul Harding. She is a graduate of the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers.
