My name is Lauren and I'm currently a Global Studies major. My pursuit in Global Studies is aimed at discovering ways in which people from all different locations and cultures function and thrive. In doing this, I hope to find my own place and way to contribute to the flourishing of people everywhere. I find myself in a constant state of learning to "see" people; really see them. Being a pastor's daughter from an incredibly diverse area of north county San Diego, I am often confronted with the various needs that rise within a community. Throughout this semester, I hope to gain hands on experience and effectual knowledge for effective community transformation, as well as some innovative ideas of my own.
