There was that abracadabra day in sixth grade when Mrs. Wiz told us to go home and write a story about whatever we wanted. Maybe I don't always go home and maybe I skip nights, but I'm still doing what she said. She'd won six million dollars in the lottery the year before. Imagine that — six million. Six million, and still wanted to read our stories.
