Hi, I'm Lauren. Nice to meet you.

I started out matching families and babysitters as the founder of NYC-based SmartSitting, and moved on to match people with other people as the founder of the matchmaking service, Dating Ring.

Dating Ring took part in Y Combinator, which was cool, and we've gotten lots of fun press like this and this and this.

I also got the chance talk into my iPhone every night and share all of my most embarrassing moments with half a million people through the awesome podcast, StartUp. But it's all good, because, sometimes I got to say hi to Alex Blumberg.

I love connecting with people, connecting people, and tackling problems. I usually write a new blog post every day in my head, and 1% of the time I swallow my fear and publish my thoughts on the Huffington Post.

In conclusion, I have two tailless cats (one has 3 legs), I don't eat fruit except bananas, and one time when I was 14 I slept on the sidewalk with my mom to get tickets to SNL, 16 times.
