Lauren Sands
I am a graduate from the University of Georgia, with a B.B.A. in Business Management and a focus in Spanish.
During the Fall of 2009 I started Atlanta Extreme Volleyball Club. AEVC is a competitive traveling volleyball club. We mainly have tournaments around the south east, with the biggest tournaments being in GA & SC. For our 2009-2010 season we offered a 1's team at the 18's age as well as a 1's team at the 17's age. For our 2010-2011 season we expanded to 5 teams and had players 13-18 and had our first Division 1 Scholarship. Now for our 2011-2012 season we will expanded to 8 teams and have players 11-18. I feel so lucky for all the amazing players and parents that I have met through AEVC. I also feel so lucky to have people who have helped me to make this dream come true. Please contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions or would like to receive a sponsorship package. We have had amazing support both from families and the community. Coaching Volleyball is something I love to do and it will always be a part of my life. :)
I am very career oriented, enjoy challenges and love networking.
In the future, I would like to further my education. I believe that education is a powerful asset.
Lastly, I love to work with non-profit agencies & charities as a way of giving back to the community. I have worked with the Children's Miracle Network, Georgia Aquarium- Aqua Vino, Habitat for Humanity, MS Foundation, St Judes Children Hospital, Make A Wish Foundation,Relay for Life, Feeding America and Humane Societies, Boys and Girls Club and plan to continue my efforts on their behalf.
