This summer, I’ll be spending three months volunteering in Mae Sai, Thailand, by the northern border with Burma. I’m expecting to teach some English, Bible, and computers, to help in any practical ways I can, like cooking, cleaning, and admin, and mostly just to learn from a ministry I have come to love and respect over the past two and a half years. I’ll get to be part of real life here on a day to day basis, and also be here for the week when friends from my church in Seoul, New Harvest, come to serve.

I kinda know what to expect in terms of what will happen, although things are always subject to last-minute change in this kind of ministry, but I guess what I don’t know is how it will feel, how I will handle it.

I will be attempting to keep this blog going throughout the summer months, although this kind of consistent discipline has never been my strength. ^____^ Pray for me, brothers and sisters!
