I am a sophomore Hospitality and Tourism Management Major at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I will have a concentration in lodging management when I graduate in May of 2016. After I graduate I hope to work my way up to the position of manager of a ski resort in Colorado.
Traveling is a passion that has stuck with me from an early age. At the age of six months I had already traveled from New York to California on both a cross country train and a plane. The traveling never stopped after that. My experience traveling with my family had a great impact on my choice of hospitality as my major. Traveling is important to me because it brings my family together while experiencing so many cool things. The places I visit never cease to surprise me. My goal is to travel to every state at least one (and just passing through doesn't count!). My dreams of traveling throughout Europe will become a reality next spring when I study abroad in Italy!
I'm a firm believer that experiences will make you happier than possessions. With this mindset, I try to be spontaneous and open to as many experiences as possible.
