Lauren Acree

Lauren Acree is the Policy and Personalized Professional Learning Lead at the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation. Currently, Lauren is the program manager for the Learning Differences MOOC-Ed and the Micro-Credentialing initiative at the Friday Institute.

She has also contributed to content for the Leadership in Blended and Digital Learning program for principals, contributed to the North Carolina Digital Learning Plan, the development and facilitation of the Future Ready summits, and the State Leaders in Digital Learning Course. Additionally, Lauren has facilitated a variety of professional learning experiences for teachers, coaches, administrators, and district leaders.

Prior to working at the Friday Institute, she worked as a special education teacher in Tulsa, Oklahoma and a teacher coach for Teach for America at their summer Institute. Lauren earned her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia and her Master of Public Policy from Duke University.
