Laurence Difelice

I am Laurence and currently I am in London, the world's financial center.

After a demanding year in London attending a Master in International Business, I am now looking for an opportunity to put into practice what I have learnt during this last academic year with the aim of developing my knowledge in finance and investment-related matters. Investment banking is the division that most attracts me, more specifically, sales and wealth management.

Having studies from a different background, I decided to enrol in the Charted Financial Analyst Program in order to strengthen my knowledge in finance and gain a competitive edge, so I am now a CFA level I candidate.

At present I am looking for an employment position or an internship in investment banking as an opportunity to enter the financial world and develop my knowledge. I have finished the first year of the program (taught part) and hand in my final dissertation in September 2013.

As you can see from my résumé, having travelled a lot and coming across different cultures and different ways of approaching and interpreting reality has made me well aware of our multicultural world. My background will sure help me to take a wider approach to a problem when setting a strategy to solve it. My abilities to communicate and present information, together with team working and the experience obtained while doing an internship in another industry, are well combined with good mathematical and analytical skills. Besides that, I can speak four languages.

Furthermore I am interested in accompanying how the world economy is performing and have some knowledge relevant to financial markets in general and the way financing or investment decisions can be made.
