I'm from Louisiana but have moved around and lived in 4 states and 4 countries. I have a B.A. in History with a minor in Leadership and Global Understanding from La Salle University, a Master of Public Health from Drexel University, and a PhD in Disaster Science and Management from University of Delaware.
I am a disaster researcher with a passion for educating the next generation of public health practitioners. I currently teach public health and work on a number of research projects at D'Youville College in Buffalo, NY, and work on a number of ongoing research projects with colleagues at the Disaster Research Center where I hold an Affiliated Assistant Professor appointment.
