Carter
Real Estate and Public Speaker in Manhattan, New York
Born and raised in Manhattan, Lauren left to attend Syracuse University, where she majored in English and minored in Entrepreneurship. After working several years in the advertising industry, crafting campaigns for startups to multinationals such as the NFL, Splenda, Bud Light, and Starwood, she returned to get her MBA from Babson College, focusing on her first love, entrepreneurship. There, she ran the marketing for the Entrepreneurship club, was VP of sales for the annual Entrepreneurship Forum, and taught entrepreneurship to communities in South Africa, where she developed a love of teaching, and, of course, safari.
Upon graduating with her MBA, she pursued a career in hospitality, working as a restaurant manager at two highly regarded Manhattan restaurants. Hospitality came naturally after years in client service, and has carried over to her career in real estate. Exceeding client expectations is a cornerstone of her professional ethic.
When not helping unite clients with their future homes, Lauren enjoys reading a good book, analyzing business plans, exploring the city, horseback riding, skiing and being the happiest terrible golfer on the course.
