Hi, I'm Lauren E. Koops! I am graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2024 and can't wait to continue working in the world of Texas music, communications, and storytelling.

Alongside school, I assist the management processes of Texas legacy clients such as Asleep At The Wheel and Ray Benson. Additionally, I work as an artist/venue runner at the historic Austin City Limits Live Theater.

These experiences have aided me extensively in social media management, strategic communications, team management, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

I have formative experience in the Nashville, TN country music industry working with recording studios/management company Starstruck, hosting artists such as Blake Shelton and Carly Pearce.

Storytelling has always been my true north. I loved studying journalism at UT-Austin where I hosted a podcast recorded at ACL Fest 2022 for the Hi, How Are You Project. I'm a published creative/epistolary author and the 2020 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards International Silver Medalist.

I am a proud advocate for the physically and cognitively disabled. I spend free hours brushing up my patchy acoustic guitar skills and exploring more corners of the the Texas Hill Country!
