Lauren Hargrove

Dr. Lauren Hargrove laid the foundation for his dental career at Kennesaw State University in Georgia, where he studied biology and chemistry. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 1994, Dr. Lauren Hargrove enrolled at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. While studying for his Doctor of Dental Medicine, Dr. Lauren Hargrove established World Dental Outreach, Inc., a nonprofit organization. In his capacity as President and Executive Director, Dr. Lauren Hargrove assisted in the development of dental clinics, starting with a free clinic in Augusta. He continues to build dental clinics to this day, expanding his efforts to third world countries. He supplies instruments, equipment, and volunteers. After Dr. Lauren Hargrove earned his DMD in 1999, he opened his private practice in Atlanta, Georgia. Focusing his efforts on restorative, implant, and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Lauren Hargrove stayed current while taking a variety of continuing education courses. At the Texas Institute for Conservative Dentistry, Dr. Lauren Hargrove studied advanced laser applications for use with the 980nm diode laser. Dr. Lauren Hargrove has also taken a number of courses through the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS), which offers nearly 30 classes at various locations. In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Lauren Hargrove took a 20-hour course, The Complex Sedation Patient. In addition, Dr. Lauren Hargrove learned the essentials of oral sedation. Additionally, he has learned about bone grafting, TMJ treatment, implant dentistry, and more since graduating from dental school. Since February 2011, Dr. Lauren Hargrove has functioned as a Clinical Dentist with Great Expressions Dental Centers, a family dental practice with locations in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, Ohio, and Virginia. In this capacity, Dr. Lauren Hargrove maintains responsibility for patient management and provides a broad range of surgical, general, endodontic, and periodontic treatments. In addition, Dr. Lauren Hargrove maintains professional affiliations with the American Dental Association, the Northern District Dental Society, and The Hinman Dental Society of Atlanta.
