Hello, my name is Lauren Heidenis. I am currently in my junior year at Watkinson School in Hartford, Ct. This year I have found myself surrounded by opportunities to further purse my interest in the arts. This year I was accepted into the Creative Arts Program, a dual diploma program at my school which has given me the opportunity to further develop my own art form as well as learn about many other. My advanced sculpture class has opened up a world of artistic freedom with new materials and free flowing creative discussion in the studio. I have always had a love for art from a young age and was very luck to find such an amazing outlet for it, and I often find myself in the studio working on miscellaneous projects to clear my head. I have found myself challenged in the best way possible the past few months while testing the creative limits of art.
