Lauren Labat is a second year undergraduate student at the Rawls College of Business of Administration at Texas Tech University. In addition to pursing her double major degree in Marketing and Management she is also heavily invloved in orginizations around campus; she is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM), Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Alpha Lambda Delta & Phi Eta Sigma honor socities as well as Kappa Alpha Theta. In the fraternity Kappa Alpha Theta, Gamma Phi chapter at Texas Tech, she was elected for the slated position as Head Marshall. In addition, she just landed an fall 2014-spring 2015 semester internship with the Texas Tech Athletics marketing and mass communications department. As she is throughly involved she excells in flexability, orginizational skills, adaptabilty, and time management. Although she is involved in so many orginizations, her acadmeic success is a first priority and curently has a 3.75 GPA. Among those skills, she is also very level-headed in tense situations, well-versed in her area of work and education, overcomes challenges with no complaints and dedication, as well as constantly succeeding the requirements or expectations presented to her. Overall, Lauren is extremely passionate about whatever oppportunity or task presents itself; she uses all her capablilities to the best of her ability in order to be efficient and effective while keeping a good attitude.
