Lauren Jimison

I am passionate about life, God's grace, and running. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2012 where I got my B.A. in Christian Ministry (sports ministry concentration) and minored in Bible and English. I also ran cross country and track all 4 years at APU and graduated as an 11 time All-American, 5 time Individual National Champion in the 5k and 10k, and 3 time team National Champion. After working for a year at a small Christian university back home, I listened to God's voice and decided to do what God has gifted me to do: run. I now run professionally for Mammoth Track Club in Mammoth Lakes, CA. I believe God made me for a purpose: to shine His light and to bring people closer to him. And, I am incredibly lucky that I get to do that through running.

Besides running, I am passionate about ending human trafficking. After going to Nepal in college, God placed a burden on my heart. I also LOVE to spend time with people. Coffee + talking = love. And, writing is the best way I express myself, so that's one of the reasons I have a blog. Read along, read my heart on paper, and see what God is doing in and through me.
