Lauren Der

I'm a second year student at Ryerson University's School of Journalism and have written for the Eyeopener, a student-run campus paper. I hope to become a theatre or book critic, a columnist or an author one day.

As a member of the Richmond Hill Curtain Club, I've worked as a lighting operator and want to try being a sound operator or assistant stage manager. In 2013 I did a youth summer program at Soulpepper Theatre, which really expanded my horizons as a person and creatively.

In my free time you'll usually find me sharing my thoughts about names on Nameberry, lost in a novel or devouring yet another news article.
