Hello,

For all those who don’t know me, my name is Lauren Piskorski. I live in Hinsdale Illinois and I am currently a student enrolled in Nazareth Academy in LaGrange Park, Illinois. I am a senior and will be attending college in the fall of 2018 in the hopes to study pharmacy. I have a passion for the sciences and math courses schools provide as well the drive to help people in life such as providing the necessary medications people are prescribed. I have been a consistant straight ‘A’ student all of my life and hope continue my successes as time passes. I participated in multiple high school clubs such as: Math club, EPICS (science and engineering club), Youth Initiative, and Caring Place for Kids. I have been accepted into the National Honors Society as well as the National English Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta (National Math Honors Society), and the National Society of Highschool Scholars. As well as a love for academics, I love playing sports. I have participated in many activities throughout my life such as cheer, basketball, track, volleyball, and dance in grade school. I continued to play basketball my freshman and sophomore year and I began to play tennis for my my freshman-senior year of high school. I plan to continue playing basketball and tennis as intermural sports in college to have fun with my friends as well as stay in shape. One of my favorite things to do in my free time is photography. I take pride in some of my photographs and I generally focus on scenery and nature landscapes rather than people or animals. Wherever I go, I usually en up carrying my camera with me just in case. Two more things I’m very passionate about are animals and food. I lovemaking trying new foods and have a wide variety of interests such as Mexican food (tacos and nachos), Italian food (pasta), and Americans food (hotdogs/portillos). Animals are my last major interest. I love all animals, especially dogs. I have had four dogs throughout my life and truly find them “man’s best friend”. I hope to have a dog when I get older because they provide me with love and happiness that all people should experience I hope this gives everyone a little insight about me.
