I’m Lauren, a People & Product Manager living in Miami, FL. I’m passionate about fostering dynamic global teams and protecting the integrity and privacy of billions of users on tech platforms.
In my most recent role at Meta (Facebook), I led impactful projects, including establishing and leading a new team in Business Integrity Product Risk. I fostered partnerships, implemented streamlined workflows, and cultivated a respected team culture by introducing rigor and processes around data requests, intake forms, and prioritization. Additionally, as the program lead for operations, I spearheaded the launch of Meta Verified, overseeing its expansion from AU and NZ to the US. This product bundle included robust features of account verification, account impersonation protection, expanded reach and access to human support agents which required tremendous alignment between Ops, Product & Leadership.
With over 12 years of professional experience, my expertise spans large technology companies, focusing on Platform Trust & Safety, International Operations, Content Quality & Integrity, Risk Mitigation, and Fraud Prevention.
I am a dedicated Trust & Safety leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, bringing a wealth of global experience to the table. Renowned for delivering impactful analytics and fostering cross-functional partnerships, I excel in people management, team building, and cultivating a culture of trust and operational excellence. As the Founder of the Miami Women Real Estate Investor Community, I curate dynamic events and ongoing educational initiatives to empower women and marginalized groups with financial literacy. My corporate journey includes influential roles at Meta, Robinhood, Expedia, and Indeed, seamlessly transitioning from product management to global operations and trust & safety. Beyond the corporate realm, I've embraced entrepreneurship with the successful ownership of a Brazilian food business, showcasing my proficiency in business planning, operations, finance and team leadership.
In my free time I enjoy connecting with other cultures through travel, practicing yoga, latin dance, cooking and language learning. I care deeply about causes that protect animals, empower women and girls, help underprivileged communities and combat social injustices.
