I have always loved making new things from old but 2014 really was the year it all kicked up a notch for me. The arrival of my beautiful sewing machine has allowed me to get creative with the needle and expand on my portfolio of handmade projects.

I have started this blog as means to record my ventures (the good and the bad) and share any of the tips I have learned along the way.

I am a magpie for beautiful fabrics, vintage and items that with a little bit love could be turned into something to be cherished. I take inspiration from nature, love colour and the more recycling involved the better. You will probably find all of these influences in my projects.
