Lauren Schiller

Brainiac. Marketer. Broadcaster. Sometimes all at the same time.

I am the host of Inflection Point, a weekly public radio show featuring women who are changing the status quo.

As a marketing consultant and media spokeswoman, my special love is developing impactful, relevant strategies and creative thinking that help brands break through the clutter on air, online and on the ground.

Right out of Vassar College, my first job was running events at the Sheridan Opera House in Telluride, CO and showcasing great performers like Ricki Lee Jones, Carol Burnett and Gary Busey.

I then moved to NYC to get a "real job," working for advertising legend Jay Chiat at what was then Chiat/Day, where I handled America Online, NYNEX, and Fruitopia.

After landing in San Francisco, I ran accounts at Goldberg, Moser O'Neill, was VP at Hal Riney and Partners on Sprint, and became a partner at kirshenbaum bond + partners working on IHOP, PeopleSoft, Cisco and Peet's Coffee & Tea. Shifting from agency life, I joined Elephant Pharmacy as their VP of marketing, and then was tapped to run Annie's Homegrown's Buzz Marketing team, which included advertising, PR, social media and cause marketing for this beloved brand.

Before starting Inflection Point, I also hosted and produced my own syndicated weekly 2-hour TV and radio talk show for 5 years, called The Lady Brain Show, featuring conversations with 100s of filmmakers, actors, authors, comedians, and musicians.

Whether I'm interviewing celebrities or developing a marketing strategy, I bring out and amplify what’s special in some of the world’s best known brands.
