Lauren Swist is a therapy dog trainer, part-time nanny/babysitter and an avid volunteer in her community. A caring and compassionate person, Lauren looks forward to pursuing a career in the nursing field where she can strive to make a difference in the lives of others. The aspiring nurse is currently available for dog obedience training. Lauren has trained her own dog to be a therapy animal and hopes to learn more about service dog training commands in 2024.

Lauren Swist’s pup is always by her side! A lifelong animal lover, Lauren has volunteered with animal rescue groups in her area numerous times and actively supports nonprofit organizations that echo similar causes. In recent years, she has become passionate about therapy dog training and even trained her own dog to provide therapeutic support. Together, the pair visit nursing homes and hospitals in her area, spreading joy, wags and happiness to patients in need of a pick-me-up. A natural when it comes to dog training, Lauren is also great at teaching basic commands to pups both young and old. She fully believes that you can teach an old dog new tricks and she loves making that belief a reality! In the future, she hopes to launch or participate in a project training rescues how to be therapy and/or service animals.
