Laurent Foucher

Laurent Foucher is an international businessman based in Geneva, Switzerland. He is of French origin and is a graduate of the prestigious University of Paris Dauphine and the National Institute of Languages and Oriental Civilizations.Laurent Foucher has been active in several African countries for over 20 years, investing in the development of commodity trading, telecommunications, but also in numerous key social projects.

The strategic importance of good governance, rule of law and socio-economic welfare has led Laurent Foucher to work closely with local governments in the conception and deployment of multiple large-scale initiatives aiming to better the life of citizens.

More recently, he has also acted as a diplomatic representative for the Central African Republic, offering expertise, mediation and counsel in matters of urbanization, foreign investment and economic development.

He is the Chairman of the Board, co-founder and co-owner of Niel Group, through which he conducts most of his business, mainly in the natural resources and telecommunications sectors.
