You know, my first business start when I was 5 years old. I went to people’s yards, ripped out their flowers, ringed to the door bell and tried to sell it back to them. Not necessarily very moral, I grant you. I often heard about entrepreneur's DNA, and I'm a supporter of this idea. You can't learn to be an entrepreneur. It is a philosophy.

Being an entrepreneur is not the taste of power, it is the sense of adventure and creation. "Boss" often say employees, whose etymology shows a common root with the father, the protector. He is not here to impose, operate or even harass. But to lead, advise and advance.

I'm going to be an entrepreneur. Me, 60 hours per week, almost no vacation and I will not complain. Worse, I will be happy. Why ? Because I am an entrepreneur.

Being an entrepreneur is not an end in itself to be happy. Everyone knows that job stress can lead to just the opposite. But what matters is the starting point of any entrepreneurial venture : the passion. Gradually, the passion born of ambition. And one morning, this ambition turns into business.

92% of employees report suffering from burnout. In other words, few employees go to the office by pleasure. We go to work against remuneration. And it is here the biggest difference between the wage-earner and the entrepreneurship : on one side, we work to live, of the other one, we live to work. How could we live to work ? Let us repeat : we live to realize our dreams, to carry out projects. The work of an entrepreneur is only the application of his desires, it is the actions which leads to concretize his ideas.

It is unclear what motivates all those entrepreneurs. Is it the need to leave a trace on Earth ? Is it to test its limits ? Is this a contest ? Is it for fun? Is it to feel unique ? Or a bit of everything at once...

For me, it's a game. Entrepreneurship could be compared to video games where management decisions are linked to manage his money, his troops, the technology. You know the Sims ? A game where you must live a character. In an entrepreneurial adventure, there are only the parameters that differ from video games. Should I rush my short-term work to increase my number of customers or do I have to do well to satisfy my client and think long term? Should I engage him, should I hire her ?

I usually speak of asceticism, because each entrepreneur is willing to bend, to suffer, to fail, to persevere. To finally reach to perfection. And repeat.
