Laurent Proneur AKA Loneroc Loneroc

Born in France in 1969 Laurent Proneur grew up as an artist surrounded by the coloful lifestyle of his familly. the circus world. Acrobat, juggler, musiscian, Loneroc became one of the pioneers, pillars and visionary Street Artists amongst the group of geniuses who gave birth to this widely appreciated latest Muse by all.

Youngster to elderly collectors, enthusiasts, investor or just because!

In deed, since some of those precursors are trans-painting their talents from walls to canvases, this particular end of the canned-brushed spectrum is to be grabbed by anyone desiring it.

He discovered and shared his gift in 1985. From Paris at first Laurent Proneur AKA LoneRoc has started painting with Futura 2000, Lokkiss, Jay, Mode 2, Jonone 156 and a few more –some of the other “Pillars” herein above referred about-.

Their mural frescos were soon to be called “Graffiti’s”.

Laurent Proneur’s talent and work were so influential and visionary to this new recognized and very much up-trending Street Art that the very best specialized magazine on the subject named “Paris Tonkar” dedicated pages of its special edition book to him.

He is very discrete and like his peace in the quietness of his painting studio in Los Angeles, very personable and a very talented man in many ways. In three simple words Laurent Proneur could be described as “The post modern Artist”.

His paintings have been good investments to some early collectors whom recognized the value in Laurent Proneur’s artwork. his paintings are now selling from the low five figures and up. And will most likely carrying on ascending for a great while globally as the Asian market show a big rising interest in the Street Art.

After Laurent Proneur was secretly painting in underground subways, some cosmopolitan streets and was gathering canvas… He decided to measure and test his talents out, in a legitimate manner, by being accepted at the arguably best art school in the world: Les Beaux Arts of Paris.

He finished first of his illustration class for the 3 years he spent there achieving his goals. That accomplishment on its own is one that very few artists can show for and one that most would be very proud of.

His work is pleasantly addictive and to be appreciated by any art lover.
