In the spirit of Michel de Montaigne, I believe we are all both teachers and learners, rather than just one or the other. Since 2005, I have taught and studied the French language and its literature in the context of secondary, higher, and continuing education, in institutions both public and private, to students of a variety of ages and backgrounds. I am continually delighted by all the ways that my students teach and inspire me with their insights, curiosity, and observations. Together, we discover this wonderful language and its literature, and in so doing, we learn more about ourselves and the world in which we live.
