I am an architect, a wife, a daughter, and a friend. I believe that we can make a better world by helping others to help themselves. Kickstart and the Adventure Project are doing just that. 80% of the poor in Africa work as small farmers - and 75% of their children go hungry. All because they don't have the right tools and resources to grow more food. Kickstart irrigation pumps help farmers to water their crops in a way that they never could before. But Kickstart and the Adventure Project are doing much more than handing handing out irrigation pumps. They're generating hope and offering a chance for those in poverty to feed their families and build a future.
