Laurie Heinerichs

Bryn Mawr

In September 2012, we moved to our Dream Home in Radnor Township. This was the end to a very hard few years.

In 2008, Laurie’s Mom, Sarah Mozino Curtin, was diagnosed with ALS. She died in March 2010, after meeting her only grandson, Cole.

In May 2009, while Laurie was pregnant with Cole, Paul was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He actually had to cancel his first chemotherapy appointment because Laurie went into labor 3 weeks early! So we actually had a newborn at home while Paul was going through chemotherapy. He didn’t know if he was tired from the treatment or tired from having a newborn. Luckily he is now cancer free!

In April of 2012, Cole was diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. He is receiving therapy and attending an autistic support preschool and making great progress!

So in October 2012, Laurie was laid off from her position at the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation. After 10 years, it was hearbreaking. The search for an exciting full time opportunity continues.

With over 20 years experience in media, marketing, public relations and event production, plus an Ivy League education, I hope someone will see the value of my experience and skill set and allow me to joing their team!

For now, precious time is spent with Cole and building a new home for her family!
