Laurie is a design addict, collector of things, french-fry lover, cilantro hater, maker, chef, mom of twins, happy wife, and loyal friend. By day, she’s an award-winning graphic designer who founded LEAP Design in 1998. She studied at Parsons, and honed her skills in the music industry, where her work was nominated for a Grammy for package design. Laurie’s a partner in Alt Summit, a co-founder of Kirtsy and writes about design at UpsideUp. She lives in Charlotte with her one husband, two daughters, and three cats.
