Laven Burns

I am a full time student who is also a full time mother and wife. I love taking care of people that can not take care of themselves. I am also great at listening to other people issues. Many people rely on me for certain things. I do need to work on my sense of time management, but I do have wonderfull people skills. I love working with the elderly and enjoyed my job as a home health aide at All Metro. College is a choice that is helping me carry myself and my family through this rough economy. I have plans on getting my bachelors degree in Social Services. Hopefully I will be able to attend Rutgers in New Brunswick to achieve my degree. After I have my degree I will go on to become a social worker. When that time comes I would only like to work with the elderly. I think that they need a voice behind them just as much as the children in the world.
