I am Manuela and I am EMEA Marketing Director at Lenovo since 1 Sept 2016.
Previously Marketing Manager at Asus Italy for 13 years.
During my career I’ve been in charge of marketing strategies, brand reputation and management, corporate communications, public relations and social media relations, digital communication, influencer marketing, channel marketing and events.
The success of a brand is founded on customer centric vision, user-friendly innovation and the ability to create value from diversity. At Lenovo, we aim to implement this vision by offering “Smarter Technology for All” so that we can all benefit in our personal and professional lives. It means using technology to enable everyone to contribute with their best talent and ideas, regardless of gender, age or status. This is why we adopted the Smarter Technology for All vision.
Throughout my career I supported empowerment initiatives, especially aimed at women, including institutional activities dedicated to innovation and diversity, notably STEM in the City organized by the Municipality of Milan and endorsed by the ITU, UNESCO, UN Women e UNric, and previously Futuro@alFemminile, NuvolaRosa, Donna&Web 2.0. I also participate in symposia on innovation – including events at the Italian Parliament, Bocconi University and “STEM in the City” – dealing with the topic of STEM subjects as a key enabler to bridge young people’s skill gap.
I feature in key lists of women in innovation and digital economy, e.g. Forbes and StartupItalia, where I’m proud to mention that also this year I was included in “1.000 Unstoppable Women”, the panel of the women who are changing Italy.
My personal aspiration is to offer a significant contribution in the fields of Diversity & Inclusion, women-initiated startups and the Green economy, and help – to the best of my ability – to leave a world of greater opportunities to future generations.
