LaWanda has over 13 years of experience caring for clients with acute illnesses, including acute congestive failure, acute myocardial infraction, drug overdose, gastrointestinal bleeds, massive trauma, respiratory failure, and client’s suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. She has 7 years of extensive experience in the staffing industry, serving as a Staffing Manager for potential candidates to fill Home Healthcare positions. She currently serves as a board member of a nonprofit organization; she is also familiar with nonprofit finance and accounting regulations. She has a proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization. Lawanda holds an Associate of Science in Nursing from Spelman College and an A1 Certification in Computer Science, along with a minor concentration in Marketing Research, from Southern Poly Technical College. With ten years of telecommunications experience, and a corporate background, she left 'Corporate America' and began the journey to change the way America goes to work.
