Lawrence E. Adjah is an entrepreneur, community builder & business advisor to leading digital media, film, sports & entertainment companies.

Lawrence began his business career as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company in its New York office. He advised clients in the Media & Entertainment practice, helping to serve some of the world’s largest professional sports organizations and media companies including the NFL. After McKinsey, Lawrence served as the Senior Director of Business Development at a leading sports and entertainment marketing agency in New York working with leading sports & entertainment properties.

Later, Lawrence established, Adjah, a firm which advises early and late stage companies across media, entertainment & technology. He's also the co-founder of Greenlighter a Silicon-Valley based startup aimed at revolutionizing the way Hollywood films get marketed and released.

Lawrence currently serves on the Board of Directors and as an advisor to the Urbanworld Film Festival sponsored by HBO and BET Networks. He also advises select professional athletes on cause-related efforts, including serving as an early advisor to STAR EMBA at George Washington School of Business, a fully accredited executive MBA program for professional athletes and celebrities.

Lawrence is an active speaker and regular writer and op-editorial contributor to a number of media outlets on business as well as issues impacting the millennial generation, from leadership, relationships and health, to community engagement and faith.

Lawrence has had a lifetime passion for community building, organization & advocacy. He founded The Family Dinner, a community-based family dinner tradition started in New York and now also hosted all across the country.

He currently serves as the President of The Harvard Black Alumni Society (HBAS) the alumni organization for African-American graduates of all Harvard schools.

Lawrence received a B.A. from Harvard University, an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a Masters in Sports Management from the University of Texas at Austin.
