Lawrence Genova

My music is about empowerment of humanity. It is intended to enlighten everyone on mankind's potential to do great things, to do terrible things, and to understand that we must accept responsibility for the results, whether good or bad. My music also teaches that spirituality is how the actions, words, and emotion from one person can influence other people to act, speak, or feel a certain way without either party having direct contact with each other.

All these things are not new concepts or ideas. They have been around for centuries, but have always been explained through the lens of the supernatural. My job is to remove that lens to reveal the truth, in that, we are judged only by ourselves and by the people that we affect. And that, if we were to take this to heart, then we would live in service to each other and in service to humanity rather than being in service to intolerant ideals and imaginary beings.

While the lyrics that I write carries this message, the music I produce is primarily in the downtempo subgenre of EDM. I typically perform the instrumentation in my songs, since I’m proficient with guitar and keys. I also regularly perform the acoustic versions of my songs at various open mic venues.
