LAWRENCE Judson REYNOLDS
Writer in Richmond, Virginia
My name is Lawrence Judson Reynolds. I'm the author of "West of Phoebe" (Rainbow Ridge Books, 2017).
Originally from Concord, Virginia, I attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro writing program in the late 60s and studied under Peter Taylor, Randall Jarrell, Allen Tate, Fred Chappell, and Robert Watson.
Later, I was a founding editor of the Greensboro Review and have published there and in Cutthroat, Blackbird, Carolina Quarterly, The New Orleans Review, Christopher Street, and Descant.
Several of my stories were listed in the Best American Stories annual anthologies.
I've taught writing workshops at the Virginia Highlands Festival for many years and also taught two semesters of fiction writing at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
I currently live with my wife Margaret in Richmond, Virginia.
