I have recently completed a Ph.D. in Astrophysics at the University of Leicester, exploring the photometric variability and rotation in magnetic white dwarf stars. My research interests spanned observational astronomy and variability studies of different types of white dwarf stars and white dwarf – brown dwarf binaries. Prior to that, I achieved an MSci (Hons) in Physics with Astronomy from the University of Nottingham in 2009. I am keen to apply my skills and enthusiasm for data analysis and statistics to research with practical applications in today’s world. Born in Canada, but raised in the Isle of Man. I have enjoyed wonderful opportunities to travel to remote and far away places through my graduate studies.
