Hello, my name is Jan Willem de Groot, and I am an attorney in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, specialized in Dutch law.

I have been a practitioner of Dutch contract law for 35 years. My practice as a lawyer in the Netherlands particularly focused on Dutch - and international commercial contracting and liability issues, including giving strategic advice and conducting litigation (before practically all the Dutch courts) and arbitration.
During these 35 years I have handled a wide range of civil (commercial) disputes, particularly with an international dimension, and I have also acted as arbitrator and mediator.
