Laxmikant Bhattad

Laxmikant Bhattad attended the Pune Institute of Computer Technology in India. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering there, graduating in 2003. At the same time, Bhattad performed as an analyst at Dataonix Consultancy Services, an investment management company based in Mumbai. Laxmikant Bhattad subsequently moved to the United States and enrolled at Drexel University’s business school in Philadelphia, where he had been awarded a Dean's Fellowship and Research Assistantship. By 2006, he had received a Master of Business Administration in Accounting. Laxmikant Bhattad was a research assistant at Drexel from 2004 to 2005, aiding professors working on economic financial research projects in the oil industry and creating financial models for them. Over the second year of his time at Drexel, Bhattad interned at Siemens AG in the healthcare system. He oversaw the database, verified existing data, and managed system analysis. He also created a new system for information control, which greatly improved budgeting, reporting, and forecasting. Laxmikant Bhattad's work resulted in a 15% decrease of operating expenses at Siemens, and he proved his collaborative skills through overseas cooperation with teams in India. Before graduating from Drexel, Bhattad served as a business analyst intern at Exelon Corporation. At Exelon, Laxmikant Bhattad managed to improve efficiency by 20%, through his implementation of progressive business models. He also supported the pricing team, analyzing and verifying all data used to ensure accuracy. Laxmikant Bhattad's first position out of Drexel was with PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. as a Performance Reporting Analyst in the banking world for three years. Laxmikant Bhattad now presides as the Senior Business Analyst for Cognizant and cooperates with teams across the world, implementing new conceptual frameworks and analytical approaches while investigating new business solutions.
