Vicheka Lay
Mr. Vicheka Lay is currently a legal advisor for a law firm in Cambodia. Prior to this occupation, Vicheka worked as an assistant to a Member of Parliament, magazine editor, translator, legal project supervisor, and a number of other legal research positions with various organizations in Canada and internationally. Vicheka is listed as an influential person both in Stanford Who’s Who and Marquis Who’s Who in the United States of America. Vicheka is an LL.M graduate of one of the world's top law schools, McGill's Faculty of Law in Montreal, Canada, and another LL.M in International Law from a university in Cambodia.
As a heavy academician, in addition to his prolific publications on Cambodia's anti-corruption regulation, anti-money laundering, human rights, and other legal issues, he is sitting on the editorial and advisory board of a number of law journals in Sri Lanka, South Korea, Canada, Belgium, the United States and Cambodia. He is a member of the Society of Legal Scholar (the United Kingdom), Lawyers Rights Watch Canada, Swiss Arbitration Association, the Australasian Forum for International Arbitration, Center for International Sustainable Development Law and Canadian Business Ethics Research Network.
