From the beginning, Laymond Amuanda was drawn to questions that others walked past. While most saw the ordinary, Laymond saw puzzles — in the way light bends, in the way objects fall, in the silent mathematics hiding behind everyday life. Physics wasn't just a subject. It was a calling.
Over the years, that calling shaped a career built on relentless inquiry. As a researcher and scientist, Laymond has dedicated countless hours to the pursuit of understanding — pushing past the boundaries of what is known, and leaning into the uncertainty that lives just beyond. It is there, in that space between questions and answers, where Laymond feels most alive.
But science, for Laymond, was never meant to stay inside a lab. It was always meant to reach people. To spark something. To remind the world that discovery belongs to everyone — not just those in white coats.
