Layne Simon

My name is Layne Simon, I am 15 and was born in Cushing Oklahoma. My mothers' name is Shannon Lee Palmer and my fathers' name is Joseph Henry Simon. I have three brothers, Travis, Tanner, and Kyle. I also have one little sister, her name is Julianne. I have three pets, one cat and two dogs which technically are not mine.

I have two hobbies which include hanging out with friends and writing music. I like to pick on and tease my litttle sister and wrestle with my cousins and uncle. I strongly dislike when people bad mouth my family and friends, I can take insults but I can only take so much. My favorite past time is when I was in sixth grade and was in coach Will's class. He always made everyone laugh and happy, he would play Journey in the morning on his radio and would sing along.

The most exciting event in my life so far would have to be my two years in highschool as a mascot. I enjoy the fact that little kids look up to me and I've enjoyed seeing their faces when the mascot, Valor, walks into a room or gym. I have a few pet peeves, like I mentioned earlier I don't like when people talk bad about my family and friends. Another pet peeve of mine is when people lie to my face, I know that nobody likes to be lied to but it is very annoying to me. The last pet peeve of mine is when people smack when they are chewing gum or are eating food.

A short term goal for me for this year is to be able to keep my grades up and not fall behind like I did last year. A long term goal for me that can be carried out in five years would be to finish high school at the top of my class and then get into a good college hopefully on a scholarship as being a mascot.
