Hi, I'm Layne - and this is me, out and about traveling. Exploration in its many forms has always been a driving force in my professional and personal life. I'm grateful to have enjoyed some pretty amazing experiences so far; and I'm always on the lookout for the next adventure, challenge or chance to grow. I consider myself a lifelong learner and thrive when working with interesting people, adding to my skillset and knowledge base, and seizing every unique opportunity life has to offer.

I'm an avid fan of the outdoors, a champion for the environment, and a supporter of all types of wildlife. I have a keen interest in knowing everything there is to know about the histories of places and things, and love to take part in conservation, preservation, and restoration efforts. In both work and private life, I'm a relationship-builder and sustainer who takes great pride in a job well-done, holding myself to the utmost standards of dedication and integrity in all endeavors.

I strive to maintain a healthy work-life balance as well. My free time is spent with my family and beloved dogs - hiking, camping, traveling, biking, running, tinkering with one of many projects or reading a good book at home, exploring a brewery, winery, or restaurant, or taking in a live concert, great movie, or show - usually with good friends included in the plans.

With a background in Software/SaaS Sales, Training, Marketing, Business Strategy Development, Property Management and Real Estate, and Education, I'm now living my dream - helping people from all walks of life live better! I'm fortunate to collaborate with a dynamic team of smart people at an innovative company leading the way in IoT Smart Home Tech Solutions aimed at optimizing both the property owner and the resident experience.

My job enables me to travel, meet new people just about every day, educate while learning from others, and have an instrumental role in revolutionizing the way people live in their spaces, adding convenience, increasing connectedness, and facilitating sustainable urban lifestyles.
