My name is Layne Webster and I am the youngest of three siblings. Both my brother and sister are alumni of the sensational Tom. C. Clark high school, where I currently attend. During my time at Clark, I have achieved academic success while maintaining the rigors of extracurricular activities. I am a member of the National Honor Society and I hold the title of Academic All-District athlete. I have participated in varsity level sports, and have won numerous art awards at both the district level and citywide.

Outside of my academic career, I enjoy the company of close friends and family. I am a patron of the arts, both musicians and innovators. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel to New York on several occasions. My favorite Broadway play is Newsies, followed by a highly memorable performance of Jersey Boys. I like to think of myself an expert on all things related to Harry Potter. I enjoy the Texas heat and summer hikes through my favorite park, Eisenhower. I can appreciate the mark of a well made movie, and in my free time I watch the latest hits from the box office.

My goal for the fall of 2016 is to attend the University of Oklahoma, majoring in education and speech pathology. I truly believe this is a worthwhile pursuit, and one that I am passionate about exploring.
