Lazy Finances
Father in San Jose, CA
I made a New Year’s resolution for 2019 to get my finances in order.
I was a few months from turning 35 with a second child on the way. I had been too busy with my job and life to track my expenses which were about to go up again.
I started digging through our total spending in 2018 and was shocked to see what I had found. We had spent over $16,000 a month. I knew this had to change immediately.
I tackled our expenses line by line and started optimizing them by category. I looked for savings that were easy, so we could continue to spend on things that we cared about.
Now I’m taking what I’ve learned to help lazy people like me save on everyday expenses with no effort at all.
